In the glass, it shows a deep, concentrated color that reflects the wine’s ripe structure and intensity. The nose is layered and expressive, with balsamic aromas, warm spices, violets, blackberry, blackcurrant, and a touch of chocolate. On the palate, it is rich yet beautifully composed, with silky tannins and generous dark fruit framed by savory spice and a fresh herbal lift. The finish is long and persistent, marked by a cool, mint-like note that adds brightness and suggests excellent development in bottle over time.

Produced in Tuscany at Castello del Terriccio, this wine comes from a terroir shaped by Mediterranean influences, with ample sunshine, cooling breezes, and soils that support depth and structure in the grapes. Syrah/Shiraz and Petit Verdot are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve concentration and aromatic complexity, then vinified with care to emphasize balance, texture, and precision.

This is a superb match for grilled or roasted red meats, game, braised lamb, and richly flavored dishes with herbs or black pepper. It also pairs well with aged hard cheeses and truffle-based cuisine. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for about 1–2 hours to let the aromatics open and the tannins fully soften.
