Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse and a polished, luminous appearance. The bouquet is refined and expressive, with notes of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and subtle brioche accents that hint at its time on the lees. On the palate, it is crisp and precise, with fresh acidity, creamy texture, and a clean, mineral-driven finish. The Chardonnay brings brightness and finesse, while the Pinot Noir adds structure and depth. Best enjoyed now for its vibrant energy, though it has the balance to develop beautifully over the next few years.

Production
CruPerdu comes from Castello Bonomi’s estate vineyards in Franciacorta, where the terroir benefits from the cooling influence of the surrounding hills and the well-drained soils that help preserve freshness and aromatic detail. The 2020 vintage is crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with careful hand harvesting to protect fruit quality and preserve purity. Vinification follows the traditional method, with secondary fermentation in bottle and extended lees aging to build complexity, texture, and fine mousse.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at 6–8°C. This Franciacorta is a versatile match for oysters, seafood crudo, grilled prawns, risotto, sushi, and delicate white meats, but it is equally suited to aperitivo service with aged cheese and light savory pastries. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open gently and serve in tulip-shaped sparkling wine glasses to highlight its aromatic precision.
