Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow with green highlights, this Chardonnay opens with a clean, fruit-driven bouquet of apple, pear, and ripe citrus, lifted by subtle tropical hints. On the palate it is juicy and harmonious, with bright, well-integrated acidity, a gentle spicy edge, and a soft, elegant texture that keeps the wine refined and easy to enjoy. There is no noticeable oak influence, allowing the crisp fruit and cool terroir to shine through. The finish is fresh, crunchy, and lightly mineral, giving the wine a polished close and making it best enjoyed young for maximum vibrancy, though it should hold nicely over the next couple of years.

Production
The grapes come from hillside vineyards around Kurtinig in Alto Adige, where the Alpine climate, cool nights, and well-drained soils help preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. Harvesting is carried out with care to ensure healthy fruit and optimal ripeness, and the wine is vinified in a style that emphasizes purity, balance, and varietal expression rather than oak or heavy extraction.

This Chardonnay works beautifully with light starters, seafood, grilled fish, risotto, pasta with spring vegetables, and mild poultry dishes. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not necessary, as the wine is meant to be enjoyed for its immediate freshness and clean aromatic profile.
