Casanova di Neri’s Brunello di Montalcino is a classic expression of one of Tuscany’s most celebrated red wines, made entirely from Sangiovese and shaped by the precision and passion that have defined the estate since 1971. Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections, hinting at the wine’s depth and development. The bouquet is characteristic and powerful, with the layered aromatic profile you expect from top Brunello: ripe red fruit, earthy nuances, and the subtle complexity that comes from long oak maturation. The palate is dry, warm, and gently tannic, with a robust yet harmonious structure and a long, persistent finish. It has the balance and concentration to evolve beautifully in bottle, with aging potential that can extend for many years and reward patient cellaring.

Production
This Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is made from 100% Sangiovese grown in Tuscany’s Montalcino zone, where the combination of altitude, sunlight, and well-drained soils helps create wines with intensity, freshness, and structure. Harvest takes place by hand from 4 to 12 October, followed by 21 days of fermentation and maceration to extract colour, aroma, and tannin. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 45 months, adding depth, polish, and classic Brunello complexity.

Food & Serving
Ideal with rich red meats, game, and well-aged cheeses, this is a wine that shines alongside hearty, savoury dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for at least an hour is recommended, especially in its youth, to let the aromatics open fully and the structure soften.
