Here, the combination of well-drained, mineral-rich soils and maritime influence from the nearby Etruscan Coast contributes to wines with both richness and freshness. Grapes are typically harvested by hand to ensure careful selection of bunches and optimal ripeness, often plot by plot. In the cellar, the varieties are vinified separately, with gentle extraction to preserve aromatic purity and fine tannins, followed by maturation in carefully chosen vessels (often a mix of oak and tank) to harmonize structure and highlight the distinctive character of this high-altitude Bolgheri terroir.
