Ca’ del Bosco Cuvée Prestige 48esima Edizione Extra Brut Magnum is one of Franciacorta’s most recognizable sparkling wines, presented here in magnum for an even more elegant evolution in bottle. Crafted from Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, it combines finesse, purity, and a distinctly Italian sense of luxury, while reflecting the pioneering role Ca’ del Bosco has played in elevating Franciacorta to world-class status.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a brilliant straw-yellow colour with a persistent, refined mousse and delicate bead. The bouquet is vibrant and polished, offering notes of white flowers, citrus, green apple, ripe stone fruit, and subtle hints of brioche, almond, and minerality. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and impeccably balanced, with fine texture, bright acidity, and a long, saline finish. The magnum format supports graceful development over time, and while it is ready to enjoy now for its freshness and precision, it also has the structure to gain complexity with a few years of cellaring.

Production
Produced in Franciacorta, Lombardy, this cuvée comes from carefully selected vineyards planted on the region’s morainic soils, which lend freshness, tension, and mineral character to the wine. The grapes are harvested by hand to preserve quality and acidity, then vinified with meticulous attention to detail before undergoing extended lees aging to build depth, harmony, and the refined mousse that defines Ca’ del Bosco’s style.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at 6–8°C to highlight its precision and freshness. It pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, sushi, light seafood dishes, risotto, and fine charcuterie, and it is also an excellent aperitif. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving to preserve its delicate sparkle and aromatic lift.
