Tasting Notes

The aroma opens with thick peat smoke, sea spray, toasted grain, citrus peel, and a subtle earthy sweetness, with a mineral edge that feels unmistakably Islay. The palate is powerful yet layered, bringing smoky phenols, peppery spice, malt sweetness, lemon zest, brine, and hints of vanilla and oak. The finish is long and smoky with lingering salt, ash, and cereal notes. It has excellent cellaring potential for those who enjoy watching the smoke integrate and the sweeter, maltier elements evolve over time.
