Why shop with us?
Bonnet Gilmert Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Millesime 2015 is a refined 100% Chardonnay Champagne from Grand Cru vineyards, crafted to highlight purity, precision, and elegance. Selected from the producer’s finest lots, it offers the crisp structure and layered complexity that make Blanc de Blancs Champagne so distinctive. As a vintage expression from Champagne, it carries the added depth and character of the 2015 harvest.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass with a fine, lively mousse, this Champagne shows delicate notes of brioche, citrus peel, and fresh white flowers. The nose is both bright and nuanced, gradually revealing subtle pastry tones and a mineral edge that adds definition.
On the palate, the Extra Brut style keeps the wine taut and focused, with vibrant citrus, green apple, and a chalky, saline freshness balanced by a gentle creamy texture. The finish is clean, dry, and persistent, with enough structure to age gracefully over the next several years, developing more savory and nutty complexity.
Production
Made entirely from Chardonnay, this vintage Champagne comes from Grand Cru-classified vineyards in Champagne, where chalk-rich soils help preserve freshness and finesse. The fruit is carefully selected from the estate’s best wines and blended to create a balanced and expressive millésime. The result is a wine that reflects both the terroir and the precision of traditional Champagne vinification.
Food & Serving
This Champagne is an excellent match for oysters, seafood, sashimi, roast chicken, creamy poultry dishes, or aged hard cheeses. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C to preserve its freshness and fine mousse. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving and enjoy from a tulip-shaped Champagne glass to capture its aromatic complexity.
