In the glass, the wine shows a deep, saturated color that hints at its concentration. The nose is rich and inviting, with layers of black fruit, liquorice, and a pronounced mineral character. On the palate, it feels plush yet structured, delivering ripe dark berries, plum, and earthy undertones balanced by freshness and precision. The finish is long and polished, with enough tannic frame to support graceful ageing for many years.

Production
This wine is Blankiet Estate’s interpretation of a Bordeaux-style blend from California, following the classic Right Bank model where Merlot plays the leading role and Cabernet Franc adds lift and complexity. The estate’s Napa Valley terroir provides excellent ripeness alongside natural structure and mineral tension, helping shape a wine with both power and finesse. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if opening it now, as this will help the wine show its full aromatic complexity and soften the structure.
