Built from the very best parcels, it combines impressive intensity with remarkable refinement, making it a standout California Cabernet with serious aging pedigree.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, Mythicus shows an almost opaque, inky-dark color that reflects its depth and concentration. The nose is layered and expressive, with dark blackberry, cassis, and ripe plum framed by notes of graphite, tobacco, cedar, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, yet the tannins are polished and finely drawn, giving the wine structure without harshness. There is excellent balance between fruit richness, savory complexity, and fresh acidity, and the finish is long, persistent, and built for evolution. This is a Cabernet with plenty of immediate impact, but it is clearly designed for the cellar and will continue to gain nuance over many years.

Mythicus is sourced from Blankiet Estate’s top Cabernet Sauvignon parcels in California, where the estate benefits from a premium terroir suited to producing deeply colored, concentrated fruit. The wine is made only from the best lots, with careful selection ensuring both power and precision. Vinification focuses on preserving intensity and purity while shaping the wine’s firm but elegant tannic structure.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with richly flavored dishes such as grilled ribeye, slow-braised short ribs, venison, or lamb with rosemary and garlic. It also works well with aged hard cheeses and truffle-inflected dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the wine to open fully.
