Blank Canvas Anthem Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019 is a beautifully poised Central Otago Pinot Noir, sourced entirely from the acclaimed Anthem Vineyard in Gibbston Valley. Crafted to let the fruit speak with minimal winemaking intervention, it captures both the purity and finesse that have made New Zealand Pinot Noir so sought after.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a polished, elegant profile with a deep ruby hue. The nose opens with ripe red and dark cherries, plum, orange peel, pine, and subtle spice, giving it a layered and inviting aromatic lift. The palate is silky and rounded, with generous notes of strawberry, red cherry, red apple, and dried spices. It has impressive depth and balance, with enough structure to age gracefully over the next 8 to 10 years while remaining highly enjoyable now.

Production
The grapes come exclusively from Anthem Vineyard in Gibbston Valley, Central Otago, a site known for its scenic beauty and ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. The vineyard is farmed using sustainable principles, and the fruit is handled with care in the cellar: around half the bunches are pressed whole, the wine is matured in neutral oak to preserve purity, and it is bottled without filtration to retain texture and character.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with roasted duck, lamb, mushroom dishes, game birds, or earthy vegetarian plates such as beetroot risotto and wild mushroom tart. Serve slightly chilled at around 14–16°C; decanting for 30–45 minutes can help the wine open up, especially if enjoyed young.
