Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color with the clarity and transparency typical of Sangiovese. The nose is lifted and inviting, with red cherry, wild berry, violets, dried herbs, and subtle earthy and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with lively acidity, fine tannins, and a mineral core that gives the wine precision and length. The finish is savory and persistent, making it enjoyable now while still offering the structure to age gracefully over the next several years.

Production
Made from Sangiovese grown in the Tuscan terroir of Chianti Classico, the wine reflects the area’s mix of altitude, limestone-rich soils, and warm days tempered by cooler nights. These conditions help preserve freshness and aromatic lift while encouraging depth and elegance in the fruit. As a Riserva, it is produced with extra care and extended maturation compared with standard bottlings, allowing the wine to develop greater complexity, texture, and balance before release.

Food & Serving
This is a natural partner for Tuscan cuisine: grilled steak, roast lamb, wild boar, mushroom dishes, and pasta with rich tomato-based sauces. It also works beautifully with aged pecorino and other hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for 30–60 minutes if you want to soften the tannins and open up the aromas.
