Here, Sangiovese Grosso clones are planted in well‑drained, stony soils rich in marl and limestone, which naturally limit yields and intensify concentration. Grapes are harvested by hand, with rigorous selection in the vineyard and again in the cellar to ensure only the best bunches from top vintages are used. Fermentation typically takes place in temperature‑controlled vessels, allowing a gentle extraction of color and tannin, followed by extended aging in carefully chosen oak to polish the structure without masking the vineyard’s distinctive, terroir‑driven character.
