The palate is fruit-driven and graceful, marked by red berry flavours that echo the nose and are supported by very soft, ripe tannins and a lively line of acidity. It is a wine that feels balanced and energetic rather than weighty, and while it is already highly enjoyable now, it should also develop nicely over the next few years, gaining a touch more complexity and nuance.

This wine is made from Pinot Noir sourced from multiple selected vineyards across Burgundy, allowing Benjamin Leroux to create a nuanced and harmonious regional expression. The wine is naturally fermented in open vats, then aged for just over a year in a combination of new and used oak barrels before bottling, a method that preserves freshness while adding subtle depth and texture.
