Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Brunello typically shows a deep ruby colour with garnet reflections, hinting at both concentration and finesse. The bouquet is layered and refined, with aromas of ripe red cherry, plum, dried rose, violet, sweet spice, leather and subtle earthy notes that unfold gradually with time in the glass. The palate is structured yet polished, combining bright acidity with firm, well-integrated tannins and a long, savoury finish. Expect classic Sangiovese character with dark cherry, red berries, tobacco, cedar and mineral nuances. This is a wine with excellent aging potential, and it should develop greater complexity over the next 10–20 years or more under proper cellaring.
