Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Syrah shows deep, dark colour and impressive concentration. The nose opens with blackcurrant and blueberry, then quickly moves into layers of smoke, grilled meat, black pepper, liquorice, eucalyptus, and a subtle camphor-like note. The palate is full-bodied and assertive, with firm structure, generous dark fruit, and a savoury, peppery edge that keeps everything in balance. It has the depth and intensity to drink beautifully now, yet it can still develop further over the next several years, gaining additional complexity and polish.

This is an ideal wine for grilled ribeye, lamb chops, barbecued short ribs, pepper-crusted steak, or smoked meats. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening it now to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open up.
