Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, concentrated color that hints at its intensity. The nose is expected to be layered and complex, with dark berries, black olive, pepper, violets, smoke, and earthy mineral nuances typical of old-vine Cornas. On the palate, the 2020 vintage is notably rich and full-bodied, with impressive material, supple yet sweet tannins, and a broad, muscular frame. There is substantial concentration and balance here, finishing with excellent persistence and the kind of structure that suggests graceful development over many years. This is a wine built for aging and should reward patience in the cellar.

Production
This Cornas comes from the estate’s oldest parcels, including fruit from the revered Reynard area, one of the appellation’s finest terroirs. The combination of steep, granite-driven slopes and old vines gives the wine its power, aromatic lift, and distinctive mineral backbone. Vinification follows a traditional, hands-on approach that emphasizes purity, structure, and the character of the vineyard rather than overt winemaking intervention.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed with hearty dishes such as slow-roasted lamb, beef stew, game, grilled ribeye, or braised short ribs. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses and Mediterranean dishes featuring herbs and olives. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for a few hours is strongly recommended, especially in its youth.
