Arnot-Roberts Pinot Noir Heaven and Earth Vineyard 2023 is a beautifully composed California Pinot Noir that captures the cool, restrained side of the state’s new-wave winemaking. Sourced from the thoughtfully farmed Heaven and Earth Vineyard, it offers a distinctly Burgundian sense of elegance while remaining unmistakably Californian in its depth and purity.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a refined, translucent ruby hue. The aromatics are expressive and layered, with dark cherry, plum, lavender, leather, and a subtle spice note that adds complexity and lift. On the palate, it follows through with darker Pinot Noir tones, combining ripe red and black fruit with floral nuances, savory earth, and a polished, focused structure. It is beautifully balanced and has the concentration and freshness to age gracefully for many years.

Production
The grapes come from Heaven and Earth Vineyard, a scenic hillside site carefully cultivated for quality and precision. The cool exposure and attentive farming help preserve freshness and aromatic detail, while whole-cluster pressing and fermentation support the wine’s structure and fragrance. After fermentation, the wine matured for 18 months in neutral French oak barrels, allowing the vineyard character to remain front and center.

This Pinot Noir pairs naturally with duck, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, grilled salmon, and earthy vegetarian plates. Serve it slightly cool, around 14–16°C, and decant briefly if desired, though it can also be enjoyed straight from the bottle to appreciate its lifted aromatics.
