Best served with refined dishes that can match its complexity, such as roast duck, pigeon, beef tenderloin, truffled mushroom dishes, or game birds. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting is recommended if opening young, ideally for 1–2 hours to allow the wine to fully open.
