The palate is generous yet impeccably focused, with velvety tannins, impressive mid-palate richness, and excellent freshness carrying the wine to a long, graceful finish. The 2015 vintage has the structure and concentration to age beautifully for many years, and it will continue to evolve in complexity over two decades or more under ideal cellar conditions.

Production
Angélus comes from carefully selected vineyard parcels in Saint-Émilion, where a mix of clay, limestone, and well-drained soils helps shape the wine’s depth and elegance. The estate’s vineyards benefit from meticulous hand-harvesting and rigorous grape selection, ensuring only the best fruit is used. Vinification is carried out with precision to preserve purity of fruit and site expression, followed by aging in French oak barrels that add refinement, texture, and subtle complexity without overpowering the wine’s natural character.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, venison, or dishes featuring truffle and earthy mushroom sauces. It is best served at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended, especially if drinking young, to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open.
