Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a bright garnet hue with youthful ruby reflections. On the palate, it is precise and structured, with firm tannins, vibrant acidity, and layers of red fruit, savory mineral notes, and warming spice. The finish is long and persistent, showing the depth and tension expected from Serralunga d’Alba. This is a wine built for aging and should gain further complexity over the next 10–15 years, or longer in a good cellar.

Production
Serralunga d’Alba is among the most celebrated terroirs in Barolo, with limestone- and clay-rich soils that help give Nebbiolo its signature structure and aromatic complexity. Grapes are typically harvested by hand at full phenolic ripeness, with careful sorting to preserve quality. Vinification follows a traditional Piedmontese approach, with controlled fermentation and extended maceration to extract color, aroma, and tannin before maturation in oak.

Serve at around 16–18°C. Decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended, especially in its youth, to allow the wine to open and soften.
