Why shop with us?
Angel Brut NV Magnum is a striking Champagne that combines prestige, craftsmanship, and celebration in one impressive format. Sourced from some of the finest Premier Cru vineyards near Reims, it is made from a balanced blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir, then aged for 30 months in Champagne’s historic cellars before each bottle is finished by hand with Angel’s signature tin emblems. It is a Champagne designed to stand out visually as much as it does in the glass.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a golden hue with soft, refined bubbles that give a sense of elegance and poise. The bouquet is generous and inviting, with aromas of ripe peach, vanilla, fresh almond, and honeyed blossoms. On the palate, those notes are echoed by green apple and pear, creating a bright, layered style that feels both creamy and lively.
The magnum format helps preserve freshness and complexity, giving the wine excellent balance and development potential. While it is ready to enjoy now, it will continue to evolve gracefully over the next few years, gaining additional depth and nuance.
Production
The grapes are sourced from carefully selected Premier Cru vineyards close to Reims, an area known for producing fruit with both freshness and structure. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, and the grapes are meticulously sorted before vinification. The wine then spends 30 months aging in bottle deep in Champagne’s cellars, allowing the mousse to refine and the flavors to integrate before the final hand-decorated presentation.
Food & Serving
Angel Brut NV Magnum is a versatile Champagne for celebratory moments and pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, sashimi, white fish, sushi, and light canapés. It also works well with roast chicken, creamy cheeses, or simply as an aperitif. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended.
Producer
Champagne Angel is known for producing a Champagne that blends traditional craftsmanship with a highly distinctive presentation. Under winemaker Patrick d’Aulan, the house focuses on carefully selected Premier Cru fruit and extended cellar aging to create a refined, stylish cuvée. Its hand-finished bottles and iconic tin details have helped make it a memorable name in Champagne.
