Description

Andremily White Cuvée 2022 is a rich, Rhône-inspired California white blend with remarkable concentration and precision. Combining Chardonnay, Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier, it spent 21 months in French barriques—50% of them new—giving the wine a luxurious, oak-driven character and a powerful yet focused profile.

Tasting Notes
Bright and generously textured, the 2022 White Cuvée opens with a juicy, resinous and creamy aroma profile, clearly marked by its time in new French oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and intense, with a lush texture balanced by impressive focus and linear precision. The finish is rich, harmonious and persistent. Tasted shortly before bottling in August 2024, the wine showed pronounced oak influence and should gain further integration and complexity with additional time in bottle.

Production
The blend comprises 35% Chardonnay, 28% Roussanne, 21% Marsanne and 16% Viognier. The wine was matured for 21 months in French barriques, including 50% new oak, resulting in its creamy texture, depth and distinctive resinous character. Specific vineyard sites, terroir and harvesting methods are not provided.

Food & Serving
Its ample body and polished texture make it a natural partner for roast chicken, lobster, scallops, creamy fish dishes and richly seasoned white meats. It should be served lightly chilled, around 10–12°C, to preserve freshness while allowing its layered oak and fruit character to emerge. Decanting is not essential, but 20–30 minutes in a carafe can help the wine open and soften its youthful oak influence.
