Altemasi Trento Brut 2022

Altemasi Trento Brut 2022 is a classic Trento DOC sparkling wine made entirely from Chardonnay, showcasing the precision and freshness that have made mountain-grown sparkling wines from Trentino so respected. Produced by Altemasi, the prestigious sparkling label of Cavit, it reflects the traditional method at its finest, with at least 15 months of lees aging to build elegance, texture, and finesse.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections and an especially fine, persistent mousse. The nose is fresh and inviting, with fruit-forward aromas lifted by subtle yeast notes that add depth and complexity. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet crisp, balanced, and very persistent, with a clean, refreshing finish that makes it both versatile and refined. Thanks to its time on the lees and traditional bottle fermentation, this 2022 Brut has the structure to age gracefully for a few more years, gradually gaining more complexity while retaining its bright Alpine freshness.

Production
Made from hand-harvested Chardonnay grown in the Trentino Alto Adige region, Altemasi Trento Brut is crafted in stainless steel under controlled temperatures to preserve purity and varietal character. After the base wine is prepared, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, followed by traditional lees aging for a minimum of 15 months, a process that builds the wine’s fine bubbles, texture, and classic Trentodoc style.

Food & Serving
This sparkling wine is an excellent match for seafood, shellfish, light fish dishes, risotto, and delicate white meats, as well as aperitifs and salty snacks. Serve well chilled at around 6-8°C, and decanting is not necessary.
