Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a light ruby color with a clear, translucent appearance. On the palate, it is usually supple and juicy, with soft tannins, lively acidity, and a fresh, almost crunchy red-fruited character. It is made for immediate enjoyment, though the best examples can hold their freshness for a few years and develop a little more savory complexity with short-term aging.

This wine comes from the Romigberg site in Alto Adige, where cool alpine influences and well-drained mountain soils help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. Vernatsch, also known as Schiava, is traditionally harvested by hand in this region, with vinification typically focused on gentle extraction to keep the wine light, fragrant, and expressive of its terroir.
