In the glass, it typically shows a bright ruby-red colour with a translucent, polished sheen. The nose is lifted and nuanced, with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry, rose petal, and subtle earthy spice, often supported by a hint of forest floor and alpine herbs. The palate is vibrant and finely etched, offering juicy red berry fruit, taut acidity, and silky tannins that give the wine a graceful, medium-bodied frame. Its cool-climate profile lends freshness and finesse rather than power, and while it is approachable young, it should continue to develop attractive savoury complexity over the next few years.
