Description

Albert Pic Chablis Saint Pierre 2024 is a beautifully classic expression of Chablis, offering the crisp precision and limestone-driven minerality that have made the region world-famous. Produced by Albert Pic et Fils, the oldest Chablis house, founded in 1755, it combines heritage, freshness, and understated elegance in one refined white Burgundy.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw-yellow in the glass, this Chablis shows a bright, inviting clarity that hints at its freshness. The nose is fruity and floral, lifted by subtle herbal nuances and delicate mineral notes that give the wine its distinct Chablis signature. On the palate, it is fresh, well-structured, and finely mineral, with a clean line of acidity that keeps the wine poised and lively. The finish is crisp and elegant, making it immediately enjoyable now, while also suggesting the ability to develop added nuance over the next few years.

Production
Made from 100% Chardonnay in Chablis AOC, this wine reflects the cool-climate terroir of northern Burgundy, where Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils help shape the region’s unmistakable mineral style. The vineyards lie at the foot of the hills, contributing to the balance of ripeness and tension in the wine. Vinified to preserve freshness and precision, it showcases the purity and finesse that define traditional Chablis.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for oysters, shellfish, sushi, grilled white fish, and goat cheese, as well as light poultry dishes and vegetable-based starters. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8-10°C, and decanting is not necessary.

Producer
Albert Pic et Fils is the oldest Chablis house, established in 1755 and long regarded as one of the region’s historic names. Today, under the stewardship of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, the estate continues to honour its heritage while refining its style through carefully selected cuvées such as Pic 1er. Its reputation is built on producing wines that capture the purity, elegance, and mineral tension of Chablis at its best.
