Sourced from old-vine Syrah rooted in the steep, granitic slopes of Cornas in the northern Rhône, Vieilles Vignes is a pure reflection of this rugged terroir—poor, decomposed granite soils, dramatic inclines and a continental climate with mistral winds. The vines are typically worked and harvested by hand due to the extreme slopes, allowing for meticulous selection of perfectly ripe, healthy fruit. After careful sorting, the grapes are traditionally vinified—often with a proportion of whole clusters depending on vintage character—and fermented in temperature-controlled vats before aging in oak (usually a mix of older barrels and larger formats) to preserve fruit purity, spice, and the mineral backbone that defines great Cornas.

Food & Serving
This Cornas is a natural partner for richly flavored dishes: think slow-braised lamb shank, grilled ribeye, roast duck with herbs, game birds, or hearty stews with lentils and smoked bacon.
