Agnelli Viassone, Langhe Arneis 2024

Agnelli Viassone’s 2024 bottling highlights the grape’s classic floral character alongside generous stone fruit and a supple, rounded palate.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, inviting straw-yellow hue. The nose is lifted and aromatic, with white flowers, yellow stone fruit, and a subtle herbal edge that adds complexity. On the palate, it is full and fruit-driven, with a rounded texture and a soft, approachable feel. Ripe peach and stone fruit are balanced by a fresh, slightly savory herbal note, giving the wine both charm and definition. Best enjoyed young for its vivid aromatics, though it can develop additional texture over the next couple of years.

Production
Made from Arneis grown in a cooler site in Piedmont, a location that suits white varieties particularly well. The older vines, originally planted by Alessia’s father, contribute depth and concentration, while the site’s cooler conditions help preserve freshness and aromatic lift. Vinification details are not provided.

Food & Serving
This Arneis pairs beautifully with antipasti, seafood, light pasta dishes, risotto, and delicately prepared poultry. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
