Mindego Ridge Vineyard sits in the Santa Cruz Mountains, around 13 km from the Pacific Ocean, where steep south-facing slopes and Purisima shale soils create a cool, strongly maritime growing environment. The grapes were selectively hand-sorted, with part of the fruit fermented as whole clusters to build aromatic lift and structure. Vinification is deliberately restrained, focusing on terroir transparency, freshness, and precision, with maturation in a discreet proportion of new oak.
