Tasting Notes
Pale and bright in the glass, this Riesling shows the delicate transparency typical of a refined Kabinett style. The nose opens with citrus, white peach, and apricot, layered over a subtle slate-driven minerality that adds cool freshness and definition. On the palate it is light-footed, juicy, and highly articulate, with a perfectly integrated acidity and a discreet touch of residual sweetness. The finish is clean, saline, and graceful, leaving a lingering mineral impression. While already very appealing now, it has the structure and finesse to develop nicely over the coming years.

Production
The grapes come from Domäne Serrig, a unique monopole vineyard on the Saar with around 25 hectares planted to Riesling. Steep slopes of blue and grey slate create a cool terroir that naturally encourages precision, minerality, and freshness. The fruit is selectively harvested by hand, then spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, followed by around 10 months on fine lees and extended bottle aging to build depth and complexity.

Food & Serving
This Kabinett is an excellent match for Asian dishes, sushi, delicate fish, and goat cheese, and it also works beautifully as an aperitif. Serve chilled at around 8-10°C to highlight its freshness and aromatic detail; decanting is not necessary.
