Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, it opens with aromas of citrus, ripe white peach and subtle herbal and stony notes. The palate is focused and dry, with lively acidity, fine mineral character and a long, savoury finish.

Production
Kirchspiel’s slopes near Westhofen are known for limestone-rich soils, which lend Riesling a distinctive mineral edge. Wittmann farms its vineyards organically and biodynamically and is known for careful hand harvesting; the producer’s top Rieslings are generally fermented with native yeasts and matured in large, older oak casks.
