Description

From the celebrated Saumagen site in the Pfalz, this organic Riesling Grosses Gewächs pairs a cool, finely drawn style with the distinction of a VDP.Grosse Lage vineyard. The Rings brothers’ playful motto, “Liebe geht durch den Saumagen” (“Love goes through the Saumagen”), reflects the estate’s special connection to this renowned terroir.

Tasting Notes
Mineral and cool in character, with a delicate structure and a fine, savoury hint of salt. Its poised, dry style and site-driven mineral expression suggest the balance and concentration expected of a Grosses Gewächs. Production
The south- and southeast-facing vineyards lie at the foot of the Haardt. Loess and calcareous marl form the topsoil, while limestone bedrock below, together with warmth, wind and cool nights, helps shape the Riesling’s freshness and mineral character.
