Production
Doosberg lies on the eastern side of Oestrich, rising from the Rhine to around 150 metres above sea level. Its deep, carbonate-rich loess over quartzite gives the site a distinctive mineral character. The estate is known for allowing its Große Gewächse extended time before release, including maturation on the lees; specific harvesting and winemaking details for the 2024 vintage have not been provided.

Food & Serving
Riesling of this style can pair beautifully with freshwater fish, shellfish, roast poultry and dishes with gentle spice. Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C; consider opening the bottle shortly before serving to let the wine breathe. Decanting is optional, and may be useful if the wine seems reserved.
