Tasting Notes
The wine displays a rich golden hue, with an intense nose of ripe peach, apricot and honey, complemented by the distinctive mineral character associated with the Mosel. On the palate, it is opulent and sweet, yet vibrant and well balanced by fresh acidity. The finish is exceptionally long, lingering with layers of ripe fruit, honey and subtle mineral notes. As a Trockenbeerenauslese, this is a wine built for longevity. The 2010 vintage is already capable of offering profound drinking pleasure, while careful cellaring can allow its fruit, sweetness and mineral complexity to develop further over many years.

Production
The grapes come from the steep, renowned slopes of the Bernkasteler Doctor in the Mosel, where cool conditions, slate-rich soils and careful exposure encourage exceptional flavour concentration. For this Trockenbeerenauslese, only hand-selected, highly concentrated grapes are used. The resulting wine is produced in the traditional German style, preserving the balance between natural sweetness, freshness and mineral definition.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. This Riesling is superb as an aperitif or alongside crème brûlée, cheesecake, fruit tarts and fresh fruit. Its sweetness and acidity also make it a compelling partner for blue cheese or mildly spicy dishes. Decanting is generally unnecessary, although allowing the wine a little time in the glass can reveal additional aromatic depth.
