Vite Colte Moscato Passito La Bella Estate 2023 is a richly expressive Piedmontese dessert wine made from Moscato Bianco/Moscato Reale, crafted to capture the grape’s signature perfume in a more concentrated, lusciously sweet style. Produced from low-yield vineyards in the heart of muscat country, it offers a beautifully refined balance of intensity, freshness, and aromatic purity.

Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass, it typically shows a bright, inviting sheen that hints at its sweetness and concentration. The nose is intensely aromatic, with classic Moscato notes of orange blossom, peach, apricot, honey, and subtle citrus peel, often lifted by a delicate floral spice. On the palate, it is plush and silky, with layered sweetness supported by lively acidity that keeps it from feeling heavy. Production
The vineyards lie in the heart of the Moscato-growing area in Piedmont, where low yields are prioritized to maximize fruit quality and aromatic concentration. Careful vineyard management is essential here, as the grapes are allowed an extended ripening period to build natural sugar while preserving the variety’s fragrance and freshness. The result is a passito-style wine made from highly concentrated grapes with lifted aromatics and generous sweetness.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to preserve freshness and highlight the wine’s floral character. It pairs wonderfully with fruit tarts, almond biscuits, panna cotta, blue cheeses, and desserts featuring peaches, apricots, or citrus, and it can also be enjoyed on its own as an elegant after-dinner wine. Decanting is generally not necessary.
