Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc 2012 is a lively, elegant vintage Champagne presented in a giftbox. Made from Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, it brings together bright fruit, delicate richness and mineral character in a wine shaped by one of Champagne’s notable harvest years.

Tasting Notes
Bright golden in colour, with exceptionally fine, persistent bubbles. The nose combines citrus, peach and apricot with notes of freshly baked pastry, almonds and plum. The palate opens with freshness and energy, then develops into a fuller range of flavours: candied citrus, dried apricot and subtle toasted hints, carried by fine mineral notes. Its balance and structure give it the potential to develop further with careful cellaring.

Production
The blend draws on grapes from 20 vineyard parcels in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, all classified as Premier Cru or Grand Cru. The wine combines Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Further details about harvesting and vinification are not provided.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, with seafood, shellfish, roast poultry or dishes featuring creamy sauces. It also pairs well with aged cheeses. Decanting is generally unnecessary; pour into a Champagne glass and allow it a few moments to open.
