Trediberri’s Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata 2021 is a beautifully poised expression of Nebbiolo from one of Barolo’s most admired crus. Silky, aromatic and finely structured, it combines classic Rocche elegance with the freshness and energy of a standout young vintage.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the translucent garnet hue typical of great Nebbiolo. The nose is lifted and refined, with crushed flowers, red-fruited sweetness, chalk, mint and a subtle touch of white pepper. On the palate, the wine is silky and creamy in texture, with polished tannins framing a long, graceful finish. The 2021 vintage is less immediate than 2020, but its balance, brightness and energy suggest excellent aging potential over the coming years.

Production
The wine comes from Rocche dell’Annunziata, one of La Morra’s most prized Barolo sites, known for producing wines with perfume, finesse and a distinctive mineral edge. About 30% of the wine underwent submerged-cap fermentation, and it matured in oak for 25 months, helping preserve its aromatic precision while building structure and depth.

Food & Serving
This Barolo is a natural match for truffle dishes, risotto with porcini, braised veal, roast lamb and aged cheeses. Serve it at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours when young to allow the aromatics and texture to fully open up.

Producer
Trediberri is a relatively young but highly respected Barolo producer led by Nicola and Stefania Oberto, who have helped put the Berri area on the map with focused, terroir-driven wines. Their work has quickly earned attention for combining authenticity, finesse and a clear sense of place, making them an increasingly important name in Piedmont.
