Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a warm amber-gold colour with an inviting, polished brightness. The nose opens with butterscotch, honey, dried fruit, and gentle citrus, layered with vanilla, toasted oak, and a soft hint of spice. On the palate, it is smooth and rounded, with flavours of caramelised apple, raisins, ginger, nutmeg, and creamy vanilla, followed by oak, dried orange peel, and a lingering sweetness. The finish is long, warming, and graceful, with balanced spice and a subtle sherry-cask richness. While ready to enjoy now, its quality and structure make it a whisky to savour rather than cellar.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the aromatic layers, this whisky also works well over a large ice cube if preferred. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, crème brûlée, dried fruit desserts, roasted nuts, or a fine cigar, and can also complement aged cheeses such as Comté or mature cheddar. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, and decanting is not necessary.
