Tenute Rubino Jaddico Rosso Riserva 2019 is a distinctive Apulian red that brings together the character of Susumaniello and Negroamaro in a refined, age-worthy style. Produced by one of Puglia’s most respected family estates, it reflects both the modern quality drive and the deep local heritage of the region’s native grapes.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color with garnet nuances, signaling both concentration and maturity. The nose is layered and expressive, with ripe dark berries, black cherry, Mediterranean herbs, spice, and subtle earthy notes that add complexity. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, with dark fruit, savory tones, and a firm yet polished structure. The finish is long and persistent, with enough depth and grip to suggest good aging potential over the coming years.

Production
Sourced from vineyards in Apulia, where warm southern Italian sunshine and coastal influences help native varieties reach full ripeness while retaining freshness. The blend of Susumaniello and Negroamaro is vinified with a focus on preserving varietal character and building structure, followed by careful maturation to integrate tannins and enhance complexity.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed with hearty dishes such as grilled lamb, braised beef, roast game, mature cheeses, or rich pasta with meat ragù. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended to open up the wine’s aromas and soften the tannins.
