Production
Campo di Tenaglia lies near Sarteano at around 550 metres above sea level, where sandy, well-drained soils are enriched with calcareous deposits. The parcel is vinified separately; fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks for about 12 days, followed by eight months in new French oak and a further eleven months in concrete tanks.
