Stina Pošip Majstor 2023

Stina Pošip Majstor 2023 showcases Pošip, Dalmatia’s most important indigenous white grape, in a style that brings together the variety’s natural fullness and freshness with subtle wood influence. Made from grapes grown on the island of Brač, it offers a distinctive expression of one of southern Croatia’s best-known white varieties.

Tasting Notes
The wine is described as full and powerful, while retaining the freshness that makes Pošip so appealing. Its ripe fruit character is complemented by notes from wood ageing, adding another layer to the grape’s naturally generous style.

Production
The grapes come from both newly planted and traditional vineyards on Brač. Vineyard work and harvest are carried out entirely by hand. Because temperatures are typically high at harvest, the fruit is picked early in the morning, cooled promptly and taken to the cellar, where it is sorted again by hand. The subsequent handling is designed to limit exposure to oxygen; further fermentation details are not available.

Food & Serving
Pair with grilled white fish, shellfish or seafood risotto, whose flavours suit the wine’s freshness and weight. Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C. Decanting is not essential, though a little time in the glass can allow its wood-influenced character to open.
