Tasting Notes
With its mature golden hue, the wine shows the depth and concentration expected from a nearly three-decade-old Trockenbeerenauslese. The bouquet is richly layered, combining honeyed notes with ripe apricot and peach, while subtle mineral tones add lift and complexity. On the palate, generous natural sweetness is balanced by vibrant acidity, creating a precise and elegant impression rather than heaviness. The finish is long and persistent, with echoes of stone fruit, honey and mineral character. Properly stored, this style of Riesling can continue to develop for many years, gaining further notes of dried fruit, spice and caramel.

Production
The grapes come from Schloßböckelheimer Kupfergrube, one of the Nahe’s most renowned vineyards, known for its stony, mineral-rich soils and conditions well suited to expressive Riesling. For this Trockenbeerenauslese, only individually selected, botrytis-affected berries were harvested by hand. The concentrated grapes were gently pressed, and the must was fermented slowly to preserve its aromatic intensity, natural sweetness and balance.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at approximately 10–12°C, allowing the wine’s complexity to unfold in the glass. It is a natural match for fruit-based desserts, apricot or peach tarts, crème brûlée and blue or other strongly flavoured cheeses. Decanting is not essential, but carefully opening the bottle and allowing it to breathe briefly can help reveal its mature aromas; older bottles should be handled gently because sediment may have formed.
