Sirch Pinot Grigio 2024

Sirch Pinot Grigio 2024 is a still white wine from Friuli Colli Orientali, combining a rounded, elegant palate with fresh citrus lift. Made from Pinot Grigio—a celebrated mutation of Pinot Noir that found a home in Friuli in the early 19th century—it reflects the region’s long-standing commitment to quality white wines.

Tasting Notes
Pale in appearance, it opens with floral aromas of jasmine and white wisteria, followed by apricot, melon and white peach, with a subtle balsamic nuance. On the palate, a generous body is balanced by lively freshness, leading to a persistent, citrus-tinged finish. Its fresh, fruit-led style is best enjoyed while young.

Production
The vineyards lie on the cool-climate hills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, on Eocene soils of marl and sandstone. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed at phenolic maturity; after static clarification at low temperature, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The wine then rests on its lees for several months, with regular stirring to build texture and complexity, before further bottle ageing. Harvesting methods are not specified.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 8–10°C, with seafood, grilled fish, fresh cheeses or vegetable dishes. Its floral fruit and citrus freshness also suit light pasta and risotto. Decanting is not necessary; open shortly before serving.
