Description

From the Castelletto vineyard in Monforte d’Alba, this 100% Nebbiolo is a more open, aromatic expression of Barolo. The 2018 vintage favours immediate charm over sheer power, with traditional ageing in large casks lending a classic touch.

Tasting Notes
Expect a garnet-red colour and an inviting nose of red fruit, flowers, liquorice and a fresh hint of mint. The palate is supple and aromatic, with softer tannins and a less imposing structure than in more powerful Barolo vintages.

Production
The grapes come from Castelletto in Monforte d’Alba, within the Barolo DOCG. Made entirely from Nebbiolo, the wine is aged in large casks in a traditional style; details of the harvest and fermentation methods are not specified.

Food & Serving
