Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows deep color and impressive concentration, immediately hinting at its pedigree. The nose is layered with dark, ripe fruit, followed by notes of cedar, smoke, warm spices, and a subtle floral lift that adds finesse to the wine’s brooding core. The palate is full-bodied and tightly woven, with dense black fruit framed by polished tannins and well-integrated oak. The finish is long, structured, and refined, suggesting excellent aging potential over many years for collectors who appreciate Cabernet Sauvignon with both muscle and detail.

Production
CCS is made from a single vineyard parcel within the famed To Kalon Vineyard, one of Napa Valley’s most iconic terroirs. In Block C1, Clone 4 Cabernet Sauvignon thrives especially well, and the fruit is vinified with a focus on preserving the site’s distinct character and precision. The wine is aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels from Darnajou, adding structure, spice, and refinement without overshadowing the vineyard expression.

Food & Serving
This is a wine for richly flavored dishes such as grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, or truffle-inflected mushroom dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromatics and texture to खुलl fully.
