Tasting Notes
The wine displays a deep, luminous golden colour. Its expressive bouquet reveals layers of ripe stone fruit, dried apricot and honey, complemented by delicate spice, floral nuances and a subtle mineral character. On the palate, it is exceptionally rich and concentrated, with luscious sweetness balanced by vibrant Riesling acidity. The finish is long, intense and refreshing, leaving notes of candied fruit, honey and minerals. This is a wine with outstanding ageing potential. Properly stored, it can continue to develop for many years, gaining further complexity while retaining its freshness and balance.

Production
The Riesling grapes are sourced from the steep slopes of the Schlossberg in the Rheingau, where the vines benefit from the region’s favourable river-influenced climate and mineral-rich soils. For a Trockenbeerenauslese, only exceptionally ripe, naturally shrivelled grapes—often affected by noble rot—are selected, concentrating their sugars, aromas and flavour. The grapes are hand-harvested in several careful passes, and the resulting wine is made in very limited quantities to preserve its exceptional concentration and character.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its intense sweetness and lively acidity make it a superb match for fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée, pâtisserie and blue or strongly flavoured cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative wine after a meal. Decanting is not essential, although opening the bottle shortly before serving can allow its complex aromas to unfold; older bottles should be poured carefully if sediment has formed.
