Production
The Riesling grapes were hand-selected and harvested by hand from the steep slopes of the Schlossberg vineyard at Schloss Johannisberg. Made as a Trockenbeerenauslese, the wine reflects the use of highly concentrated, late-harvested grapes, resulting in its pronounced sweetness, depth and aromatic intensity. The 2003 vintage is bottled in a compact 375 ml format and finished with the estate’s distinctive Goldkapsel presentation.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 8–10°C, to highlight the wine’s freshness and balance. Its concentrated fruit and honeyed sweetness make it an excellent partner for fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée, pâtisserie and blue or mature cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own as an elegant aperitif or digestif. Decanting is generally not necessary, though careful pouring can help separate any mature sediment if the bottle has been stored for many years.
