Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, attractive red hue that hints at its ripe, generous profile. The nose is immediately inviting, with layers of blackberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and mature cherry, lifted by notes of red pepper, cocoa, menthol and a graphite-like mineral edge. On the palate, Pathos is remarkably smooth from the first sip, with a supple texture and a rounded, accessible feel. Sweet, gentle tannins support the wine’s long, persistent finish, making it enjoyable now while still offering a few years of graceful development.

Production
Produced in the Marche IGT zone of central Italy, this blend is shaped by the region’s Mediterranean-influenced climate and varied soils, which help preserve freshness while allowing full ripening of the grapes. Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are harvested for balance and aromatic intensity, then vinified to emphasize ripe fruit, spice and a polished structure.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled meats, roast lamb, beef dishes, game, and rich pasta recipes with ragù or mushroom-based sauces. Serve at around 16–18°C for the best expression, and decanting for about 30 minutes will help open up its aromatic layers and soften the wine further.
