Quintodecimo Greco di Tufo Giallo d'Arles 2025

Quintodecimo Giallo d’Arles is a refined expression of Greco di Tufo DOCG from Campania, crafted by renowned winemaker Luigi Moio. Made entirely from Greco di Tufo, it combines crystalline golden colour and impressive depth with the mineral character and smoky persistence that define this celebrated southern Italian white.

Tasting Notes
The wine appears crystalline and golden in the glass. Its aromatic profile is expressive and layered, offering gardenia, white melon, ripe apricot and Annurca apple, complemented by mineral nuances of dried fruit and delicate white pepper. On the palate, Giallo d’Arles is full-bodied, structured and powerful, yet remains balanced and harmonious. Its texture is generous, while mineral and smoky notes carry through to a long, persistent finish. With its concentration and structure, it should develop additional complexity over the next several years when properly cellared.

Production
The grapes are carefully hand-selected on sorting tables upon arrival at the winery, then gently pressed and statically clarified. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless-steel tanks and partly in French oak barrels at 14–16°C, preserving the wine’s aromatic precision while adding breadth and subtle complexity. Its Greco di Tufo origins contribute the firm structure and mineral character typical of the appellation.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at approximately 10–12°C. Its richness and structure make it an excellent partner for grilled or roasted fish, shellfish, creamy risottos, white meats and mature soft cheeses. Decanting is not essential, but a short period of aeration in the glass or a brief decant can help reveal its floral, mineral and smoky layers.

The estate has become particularly recognised for its precise, terroir-focused wines from Irpinia, including this ambitious interpretation of Greco di Tufo.
